Chris Brown is Glasswoman

A Stained Glass artist living and working in Worthing, West Sussex.

I design and make leaded light windows, copper foil panels, mirrors

lamps and 3D items such as potpourri holders.

I love glass and its properties, I am always exploring new ideas often using traditional techniques.

I have a kiln which allows me to do traditional glass painting and glass fusing both of which i can incorporate into a design.

To View my Work

Take a walk along the beach and up onto Worthing pier.

In early 2009, 1 was commissioned by Worthing Arts Council

to design and make two glass panels,

which are now installed in the central partition on the pier.

They commemorate the sinking of the Ice Prince and the wood

that washed ashore in january 2008.

This is my first public art and I feel very honoured to have

my work on permanent display in my home town.
